The suspension modifications have made the handling a little crisper without affecting the character or comfort and the extra torque from the larger carbs is welcome. Rapid progress can be made rarely needing to exceed 3000rpm. Oil pressure is consistently between 40-60 and with the Revotec fan the engine never overheats. The car has been kept in a dry dehumidified garage and rarely used in the winter or rain with the engine run to hot every 1-2 weeks. Bodywork condition is very good.

Registered Feb 1969, sifting through the considerable paperwork with bills going back to the 1970s, I can identify 5 previous owners. More recently, the previous owner prepped the car for classic car events and international regularities. The car was entered into and completed the first Classic Mountain Challenge in 2010, covering over 2,000 kms and some of the highest and most famous Cols in motorsport history. As such, many older parts were replaced to make the car as reliable as possible. In my ownership since 2016, journeys to Cornwall and Le Mans have been the long distance highlights, both in hot weather, without missing a beat. Oil changed with new filter before the winter lay-up and all nipples greased. Serviced and meticulously maintained by me and Market Garage MG Specialists in Petworth.
Unfortunately plans have changed, as they do, so I am reluctantly putting her up for sale. Inspections and a test drive are welcome.
